Team Mission statement
Bristol Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre (BACFC), based in the Respiratory Department, Bristol Royal Infirmary, University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust, is the specialist adult CF centre for the Severn Region, caring for around 290 adults with Cystic Fibrosis, providing high quality multidisciplinary care to adults with cystic fibrosis (CF) in Bristol and surrounding areas. Based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, we have a highly skilled and dedicated multidisciplinary team with expertise in all aspects of CF care. The service is supported by excellent diabetes, liver, microbiology, gastroenterology, physiology, obstetrics, cardiothoracic and specialist radiology services. The Centre has strong links with the regional Paediatric CF service based at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children to support our young adults. We have the highest expectations of the team and our patients and strive to constantly improve care for people with CF.
